Travel to the Center of the Land

This is an interdisciplinary and multidimensional exploration of identity, which integrates area of culture, education and art. The project propose a new vision of local heritage, public art and collective memory as a continuatuion of personal identity. The main goal is to develop collective consciousness of habitat and interiorization of simbolic cultural language through the direct contact, experimantation, artistic expressions and group dinamics. And finaly, to make connections between nature and culture, personal histories and collective memory.




The project took place in Secondary School of Pinhal Novo, in March-April of 2009.
